Getting cancel out of charge?

While in charge animation i feel like it glitches when someone use a push back attack while i use charge to get close to them? Am i suppose to get cancel out of charge or is it just glitch where range classes with a push back have a huge power over melee classes. I mean last time i was lvling in night forest a warlock attacked me and i tried to charge him but it just goes on cd just as he uses his push back and my skill never connected. So i was just wondering is charge is just flat out useless skill or it just useless due to the glitch Or is it lag from me....

So the other option is get some movement speed or Neil to silence (for example) to disable them to catch up or prevent push back. Kay thanks again.

Ah so I have to wait for them to waste all their push back. Okay that make some sense. So in this case I Feel like they need to reduce the cd on charge then. Only wait to get close other than shield throw (for knight) when they can debuff out of and they have more push back skill and teleport than us melee. Thanks

Waiting for them to use up all their pushback skills will be wasting time, by the time they're done with their last pushback skill combo (within 2seconds) the first is done cooldown and they can use it again.

So yea basically you run to them and when ur almost side by side you can use the skill and hope it works....not guarenteed

TBH, this 'glitch' happens even when your fighting normal mobs, you use the skill and you see the skill animation for the attack but no damage is dealt upon the mob you want to hit....i have a few zerkers so i know this glitch. It's both a glitch and it can be easily affected by the lock's push back.

Because push-back actually registers before you charge is in effect and push-back = your too far from the lock and the skill goes on cooldown because you were too far.
