Well as with most forms of currency on this server, they're fairly liquid. And by that I mean, they can be converted from their current form into almost any other form very, very quickly (of course liquidity actually refers to an asset's ability to be converted into cash-- specifically, how fast and easy it is to turn an asset into cash).

That being said, lets say you have a ton of MTs laying around, and you need gold. put them up for sale at a reasonable price that you know people will buy them for.

Lets say you want tears. There are a LOT of people willing to trade tears for MTs. If you're so strong that doing dungeons is easy for you, then you can always use the MTs you farm up for tears.

I dont need to continue on with the examples as I've made my point clear: As long as there is something--anything--you want on this server that can be acquired with currency you can obtain said items with MTs (even if you DO have to do some leg work first).

As far as adding in new content (EG, consumable items for MTs etc) that takes time, and careful consideration. So be patient, and if you're bored of farming MTs, then...dont? :P

Oh and yeah I'm not posting for my sake alone but mostly for those who are new to this server who're having difficulties amassing for Tears, because the items they want can only be bought by Tears. Yes it's easy to trade Mighty Trophy for Tears, but how many Mighty Trophy will you need for just 1 Tear? It's not that easy for those who can't solo dungeons or are having a hard time finding a party for dungeons.

AS far as your second question goes, the going rate I've seen advertised is about a 3:1 ratio of MT:Tears. That is to say, 1 tear will get you 3 MTs and, conversely, 3 MTs will get you 1 tear.

nope... the ratio, sad to say, is 5:1 or worse than that.

Well just like in the real world, exchange rates are not set in stone and do vary depending on supply and demand.

The last few people I saw advertising exchanges, the rate was 3:1 I am not surprised it's changed for now. And I wont be surprised when it changes again in the future.

Just be patient and keep your eyes open for good deals. You never know when an opportunity will present itself.

You think it costs nothing to host a server like this, or to spend all this time trying to keep it interesting by adding new stuff, fixing bugs, answering your questsions? Of course the interesting stuff is going to be more difficult to obtain in the hopes you might donate to keep the server going. However, unlike most pservers you can obtain everything available here without donating (except for the donator titles), "in time", rather than on a platter like the Trophies.

I'm really not sure at the moment to be honest with you. When I do add more items for Trophies it will likely be for a new type of Trophy. I'm thinking about adding these to the insane mode dungeons. I may also allow you to exchange a number of Mighty for one of these new ones too.

I also considered adding an exchange NPC where you could exchange all the different types of Trophy, Medal, Coin etc. but I don't want to mess with the player trading as I think it's a nice part of the game.

Because for now, the demand for scrubs tears are high and most player are now prefer trading their item such as weapon and armor using scrub tears as "currency".
It's true several player also sell their scrubs tears in gold, but not all player can afford to purchase in large amount since item trading in scrub tears through player usually involve large amount of scrub tears.

Trophies should only be used to buy Armor/Acce/Weapons....it's easier that way. So you have a balance from each individual 'currency' so to speak.

And can't wait for the insane dungeon Sedy!

I'm liking the idea of a merchant to exchange stuff into something else. Make the rates abit higher then usual so that there will be a balance and we can see the rate of things going up abit causing more ppl to go farming for the things they need.
