So.... I played Iris when it was still out. Great game! could never put it down. Which is why i was so sad when they closed it. When i found out about this i was so exited. I waited 4 hours to download the client (which surprisingly isn't too terribly long for the internet to download at) Nonetheless, I waited. I opened it up and fought an unwilling user creation screen for half an hour. I finally get to the game, the screen loads and fills me with joy. I create my character which seems the same and get into the game. The few changes made were really nice, it looks good and feels good. But then i actually got into the combat.

This game feels like a pvp-based game, whereas Iris used to feel like a pve-based game with the option to pvp. The exp gained from generic mobs is outrageous. I leveled up from level 1-13 in literally 57 minutes. The level cap is probably high, there is no doubt. But it doesn't have the same feel as Iris had. It feels rushed, and short-lived. Back when Iris was around it took me hours and days to get to my level 33 character. On the private server i have even had to quit some quests due to the extensive level gain. I do understand if this is not able to change, but it'd be appreciated if even attempted.

The second thing is minor. A couple of the "x's" to close out of say, the inventory, and such, is really small and hard to see/click.

I'd love to see this game in its fullest potential and apologize if this has already been addressed.

thank you for your time.

    Hi Buufen,

The majority of players on private servers prefer and expect a higher experience rate. The main complaints I saw coming from players of retail was that it was far too slow and grindy to level up your character and that it was too expensive to get premium items, but that's not really related to your post.

Spunny is right though, it does get tougher to level up as you progress to a higher level, but still much much faster than on retail. We have plenty of high level content here unlike retail, so that's where most players want to be, not stuck levelling for months :)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I actually like the fast exp gain. In retail I leveled until L66, and there was so much grinding on the later stages that it really became mind-numbing. Leveling slows down dramatically after a while in NS though, if you're worried about that.

Agree on the X's~ though I did get used to it after a while.

    welcome! :D

tip on leveling: 1. Do dungeon Quest; 2. when you reach level 50, start doing wanted papers (50-60) until you reach 85. LOL you might want to camp at lvl 74 because... DM/FM/BOA is fun at lvl 74. LOL anyway, welcome, and enjoy o/
