Hey guys,

I think I have decided on the next battlefield and thought I would see what you thought of my idea so far.

The battlefield will be based on the Conflict Valley map. It will follow the deathmatch rules but will be set at 200 points to win. The main objective is to kill the opposing sides guardian which can be seen on the map below marked as '*'. A and B are the starting points for each side.

The guardian will give the full 200 points and will therefore end the game if one is killed.

Sides will choose one of several strategies, go all out offense and kill the enemy guardian before their own is killed or full defense, or split into groups, some defending, some going for the guardian.

There may be some other objectives such as towers to kill but not decided on those yet.

    Well, i somewhat agree with you both, it should give BF no doubt there, but it should also give something like VH (those corrupted nightmare) to exchange with a vendor for some things?? I'm not sure just suggesting it so that more ppl will be enticed to actually play in this BF and not just come in and afk. Makes it different from the other 2 BF's

    That's my two cents, criticism?

    Size and everything will be arite - if this was like once every 12 hours only at a set time. If its well made, I'm sure a lot of people are gonna show up at those times - its like an automatic daily event then.

    Otherwise this as just an alternative BF is going way overboard, comparing the size and complexity to the little amount of players on the server.

    Rewards shouldnt be BF Points tho, but some kind of random drop, close to the VH Reward system including Crystalix drops/Event/Control Spreads/Tears/Cards maybe.

    Actually worse and age isn't an excuse - youre really ignorant.

    Why? You answered the question yourself.

    A phrase like "new battlefield" is expansible, it can and should be more than a dull FM/DM clone. Youre arguments are void.

    Stop taking and making everything personal. You are not the center of the world, noone actually cares about your dramas. People just get annoyed by it.

    And yes, the video you made is quite nice, good work, noone said anything against it.

    starters dont tell people to quit iris you seem like one of those jerk pros who dont like new people or people just saying something, its not cool. the idea of another drop would be good but not something huge maybe like MT drop or something. but the event probably would happen only like twice a day because of size. but a small drop and bf points is good. but in the end sedy decides this he has the final say so of what this new bf or event or whatever you want to call it.

    your just ruining Sedy's idea yourself, ITS A BATTLEFIELD And battlefields stay battlefields, and give battlefield points. if you don't like that dont play iris.


    I think this actually isnt too far from the original idea Sedy is looking for... and anyways these are just my thoughts, ideas and suggestions concerning this.
    No demands, no trolling. Sincere criticism is always welcome.

    Why dont you stop behaving like a spoiled brat everytime an opinion differs from yours and give helpful suggestions instead. Everyone will appreciate and I dont need to write these extra lines.

    Exactly, did you read my post?
    It should not be called BF and not give BF points exclusively.

    With the few things Sedy brought up, it is/could be a bigass long and tactical daily event rather. A great idea.

    This game lives off of challenges, otherwise you get people bored very fast.
    And this has the potential to be a new daily challenge, and to be that appealing to everyone, so they set their alarm clocks after it, it needs worthwhile rewards as well.

    if you want random rewards, VH is a option rather than setting a battlefield as a dungeon.


    I agree with you both, I think it should give BF points and possibly 1 random drop... Not any Armor or anything, but maybe something else everyone can use.

    Oh and the comment about dieing and spawning so far away, yes this is the only problem I see so far with this. So what I may do is have another objective on the other side of the bridge, in the far corner. Kill something there and a gate will appear allowing you to teleport there from the spawn point if you die.

    I think the map size is perfect for this. And yes it is based on wow's Alterac Valley which was huge. That had other objectives on the way to the other sides camp and guardian, but yeh, same idea.

    The guardians will actually be monsters that fight back, not some static tower like in deathmatch.

    This is a battlefield for large groups not 1 on 1 and it will likely take some time to complete. Stop thinking about the current battlefields on small maps that take a few minutes to finish.

    I like this idea and somewhat agree with the map size maybe you can make the map smaller? like rather then it being 1:1 (the size) make it like 1:5 same map but size wise is reduces 5 times or something like that O.O

    The idea is good, but the map size is too big... traveling from one side to the other will take time... plus the fact that some will just join their alts then AFK while the main plays...

    By the way can you pass the guardian like you can pass the party lead or is it random and fixed?

    Not to big map?
    Idea is good,but usually on pvp is ~6/7 so on that map it 'll be like hide and seek.
    3ppl 'll rush enemy guard,3 def our and its all,but it'll taake em a lot of time,specially after rezz to get back on position.
    Maybe cut that map to bridge only and fight on 1 side only? There'll be more action and more fight.

    how about some sort of barrier to protect guardian and when team lead dies the barrier weakens kill the leads and after like 5-10 times the barrier goes down and the guardian can be killed by the opposing team
