Newbies hello

hello all my name is Kenneth I'm from Texas I'm 24. i started playing the real iris online last night and decided heck I'll see if the private servers hold up to what I enjoy about the real server and well......only had maybe 30mins to play before server went down. so....still left to be seen. anyways, I came from playing Tales Of Pirates for 3 years and then 4 years on private servers. I've been called Kazuma on all servers. so far i only have a shaman named Mistrel but when i get around to a melee class if i can get away with it i will make a Kazuma. I'm not a hard person to get along with on new games but ones i been playing forever where things should be common knowledge just annoy me. I will try to keep stupid questions to a bare minimum as i begin learning this game so bare with my noobness lol. well until the server comes up I'm gonna goof off here and hopefully its up again soon.

Welcome. Yeah, went down for a couple bugfixes and stuff concerning the huge content patch the other day. He likes to fix things quickly, rather than making everyone wait for a weekly patch or something like retail does ;]

Anyways, I hope it lives up to your expectations. Naturally, not as populated as retail but it is VERY active for a private server. Also, the levelling is much less of chore here, and in no time you will be hunting down bosses and the pretty toys that drop. More dungeons, more world bosses, more uniques and epics, more mounts, more costumes. There's actually alot of content that hasn't yet hit retail, and some that never will (like Frigid Glaceon)

Honestly the only thing i would do differently is lower the Exp cause i like the fast rate of Skill gain but to fast leveling means I'm out leveling my quest to quickly

It's a good thing. My quests are few and far inbetween and I love that, not like Retail where you HAVE to do almost EVERY quest in your region to lvl up to 2 lvls below the next. I can pick quests I like and it's less boring and more playable. The fast-paced leveling is my style. It's slow enough to let you get used to the game a bit and fast enough so you work a day and BOOM! 65. You never see 65's in retail. Why? Because people get bored since they're like the ONLY 65's there. They cant do DecoH because they're stuck with lowbies who like to steal loot. This version just makes retail look like shit.
