Well the fastest way to obtain trophies is to donate. At the top of this page is a tab that says [Support Us]. Click that and you'll find instructions on how to donate.

Scrub Trophies, and Mighty Trophies are also available in-game. Certain world bosses drop them (like Cringer, I believe). Trophies and Mighty Trophies also drop from fodder mobs, and certain boss mobs in Hard-Mode dungeons (Circus Hard, Decomus Hard, and Wood Garden Hard). There are also a small handful of quests which can yield a few trophies as well.

Well, just to elaborate more,

Scrub trophies are obtainable via:

Laioha Hard Mode (Boss' Only)

Decomus Hard Mode (Boss' Only)

And,

Scrub Mighty Trophies:

Wood Gardens Hard Mode (Boss' and a few trash mobs, rate will be lowered on the next patch)

Circus Hard Mode (Boss' Only)

Frigid Ice Queen (A World Boss, that may drop Mighty Trophies)

not confirmed but i would assume that both the new Cringer and Lost Mysterion will also drop Mighty Trophies.

Pretty much on the ball. but also trash monsters in Circus Hard drop them and the elites in Shadowfields drop them 50% rate too.
