Hello Sedy.
it was a nice update I like it though the pvp now is really hard lol tanks are unkilables with pots and healers just dont die it will be hard to make healers have less heal power because then in pve they will have a really hard time trying to keep the party alive so nerfing them is hard too everyone iss complaining about the low pvp dmg (including myself) so why not to add some pvp dmg to accs , weps or gears ? that way healers can still have their healing power and we can still have some more pvp dmg because as it is now pvp is not really that fun just my idea though :p

    I have been working on this today.

    Physical Defense/Magical Defense from level 50+ items has been reduced by about 20%, Stamina/Strength/Intellect/Wisdom will give less Physical Defense/Magical Defense (1pt = 1 Defense instead of 1pt = 1.5 Defense, and Stamina will give less HP (1 pt = 5HP instead of 1pt = 7HP).

    On a well geared CQ85 Templar with a couple of PvP accessories and fully All Stat IV (no buffs) this equates to about -20k defense. Around -8K on a Vanquisher, Myrmidon, SB in PvE gear.

    These changes alone show a considerable increase in damage across all skills to high defense/high HP targets. This should go some way to making up the shortfall of damage since the ITD fix. Whilst you won't see any massive damage numbers like before, overall damage will be higher to make up for it.

    Still looking at healers. Like you say, I don't want to mess with their PvE abilities too much but their heals can come down a bit since they were inflated to counter bugged ITD, not for any necessity in PvE.

    - defense will be more pve damage too not just pvp damage............. so maybe it will be more challenging for a tank we'll see how it works :p

    Please don't forget about the rest of the non-high def nonhigh HP characters when you do these reductions. Eg a cloth wearer may have about 5k in all stat in L85. Back of the envelope calculations show Pdef falling from approx 35k to 25k if you reduce from 1.5 to 1.

    A windwalker does -20k def according to the update. Many other classes do -15k def + stackable debuffs. Sounds very painful~

    Well.. if it were to be my opinion... the game was already good before the update on itd and casting glitch..
    dps have their function and most healer can cope with that... But now.. even with some gg moolah spent gears, there isnt any huge difference with those who didnt spent moolah for their gear... its just not worth it to spent too much on builds now =S

    My test Saint went from 26.5k P.def to 23.7k P.def with the changes I made today. Wearing CQ85 armor and weapon, 2x Costume sets for 2 bonuses, Nereus accessories and carded in a mix of All Stat IV and V, the usual...

    Oh and HP went from 70k to 65k with the Stamina coefficient change.

    New players were getting put off the game with such high damage flying around.
    Battlefields were few and far between because people separated off into different brackets because of the high damage at 85.
    PvE was ridiculously easy with tanks able to solo a raid boss.
    Nearly impossible to make new content that won't get completed in one day because of the massive damage and defenses of the high level players.

    I could go on and on. The game was completely broken in many ways and these fixes just had to be done.

    Just wait a day or so whilst I get some more changes in. Damage will be higher, tanks less tanky and healers not so strong. It will never ever go back to the damage from before though.

    But aren't saints by default on movespeed wings rather than %def wings? For those on attack wings the impact is much larger.

    I guess I'll wait and see, though tbh I'm kinda iffy on changing the stats because it makes all stats less valuable i.e. what's the point of spending all that moolah on VI if there's not much difference.

    i am one of the highest donators in the game, so me above all would be affected since all my damage i have on many toons i have now has gone poof, but it goes back to the original message, admins decide what to do, if you/we dont like it then we can find another game, with the ITD bug yeah its depressing watching my temp go from 35k ITD to 3-4k ITD but thats life, ill just use the gear i have to make lisk insane my bitch, and like everyone else can learn to use their skills wisely for PVE and PVP, also the PVP side to the game is still being tweak be paitent, sedy has a life like us too,
