Hello, me and my gf started playing this game recently because sadly we are in a long distance relationship and thought this would be an excellent game for us to play and stay in touch.

So my questions is, whenever I enter into a battle field, I get creamed. I am a scout and I know they are not the most defensive in the game but I die within 1 or 2 hits. I'm level 66 with some epic gear, however is there any tips on how to gain more defense and hp? My HP at the moment is about 12,000 and my gf is only 8,000, and we are both about level 66. She is a mage :).

Anyways, I feel terrible for my teammates in the battle field for not being able to contribute much, and I feel bad for my gf when some people say rude things to her when we are trying our best to contribute during the battle. Any tips will be much appreciated :).

Also, does joining a high level guild really boost stats that much? I know you can level up the guid skills but does it help a lot?

You can ask a L75+ to help you put the card in your armor, then trade the armor to yourself.

Part of the reason is your level. Battlefield is by level ranges. So you would be in the level 60-74 battlefield. When you hit L70, you can use some of the new gear that exists (this of course boosts your defense etc higher).

Second - I'm not sure what kind of gear you have, so it is hard to advise you offhand. But, eg. did you enhance your chestpiece to +10 with the damage absorption property? (look at the higher level characters if you are not sure what I mean by property).

Third - what kind of food buffs/tarot are you using? E.g. Greater Potion of Protection can give you 10% dmg abs, and there is other food eg Prized Lunch set that gives you better attack/def.

4th - you can use monster transformation cards to enhance your survivability. E.g. Niria - can let you be hit for MP instead of HP (third skill)(your mp will be depleted completely or the skill run out, before your hp is depleted). E.g. Nirenia - you can stun other people (1st skill) and/or be invincible for a couple of seconds (3rd skill).

5th - you can use injector pots/abs potions. These are untradeable potions you can make as an alchemist. These will give you 50% damage abs for a short while.

Regarding the high level guild - it does help. E.g. at max guild skill you get an extra 5% dmg abs. It's enough to give an edge, but won't stop you from getting creamed as you put it. More importantly though, you get to talk to more people and make friends. Not to mention your guildmates are likely to be able to help on random iris-related questions :D

Hope that helps. If you need more clarification, you can pm me or talk to me in game.

All i want to say is, u need lvl ing until 70 coz in lvl 70 mostly ppl will hav new epic gear. U can buy that epic gear lvl 70 with MTS (mighty trophy) and put some lvl VI card. Coz mostly bf (battlefield) in lvl 61-74 is camper, so dont worry about losing, just try ur best. and lvl ing your alchemy (assistant skill) so u can hav good potion HP and absorb potion.

    Btw good luck

thank you guys so much for your help and your tips. I will definitely look into the damage absorption. I do have lvl 65 epic gear +10, but not the full set, because it is so expensive in auction. Also, I will look into the different monster cards as well. Are there any other monsters with helpfull buffs besides Niria?

Also about the mighty trophy, can you only find those in dungeon? Because like I said, if I want to go anywhere near dungeons I need to find a way to stay alive haha. And where is the npc that sells epic items for trophies? Thanks again you guys!

Monster cards - these are the ones with self buffs you can consider:
Dreary soul in warrior refuge - for increased magic attack (for your gf)
Roving soul in Nightfall shelter - for increased phy hit
Ho tribe starving hunting dog in HC2f - for increased attack speed
less common: Antie in EoA/blood zombie in hc2f

Scrub mighty trophy - you can find them in:
    1) WGH and CH dungeons
    2) random drops in dungeons L75 and above
    3) mob drops in Nightfall shelter (not much), Colossal shadowfields (these are both pk maps, you either walk via another map or via the scrolls from kristin owens)
    4) easiest is to buy them from other players in the auction house

There are several NPCs that sell epic items for trophies - in terminus near the fountain. It's by levels.
