Guys, I want suggestions on PvP map changes. I will most likely be making some of them PvE again and want to get your opinions on which ones.

I was initially thinking of making Nights Forest PvE again since it's a nice area for levelling and has plenty of quests and since we raised our level cap it's no longer the high level map. It probably should have been changed when we raised the cap.

How do you feel about the lower level PvP maps like Corrupt Valley, are these fine as they are or do people levelling have problems with being PKd a lot there?

I realise that by making the PK weekly event people are now more actively looking for kills and I do not want to alienate our new players trying to level. So please, if you are going to give an opinion, think of it from both sides, not only your own.

Sorry I meant NF not NFS lol. Updated post.

nightfall shelter is probably the best place to make PvE the quest there can help you level to 75. Collosus Shadowfields should stay the same.

There are other places to level to 75 as well. I think a lowbie map should go PVE instead, like Night's Forest (and Corrupt Valley beside it). 60+ level characters are being chased by higher level ones for easy kills there.

I'm getting concerned about the new players quitting too, everyone hunts them this past week and, we lvl 75 never find any other 75 to pvp. Its not like we want to kill the new players, its just that theres no one else to kill. And we don't know the prize for the event yet, meaning we don't know if all this is worth it or not.

Anyway, I suggest to keep NFS a pvp map, because there are 3 bosses there over which we can fight with other lvl 75s, and if you really must make it easier for new players to level then better make NF and/or CV pve again. They can level without going to NFS but we need that one major map where everyone can go to if they want some action. (or else move LM out of it if u make it pve)

In my opinion, if you wanna make more PvE map, it should be Night Forest and Corrupted Valley, not NFS.

First, it's because wanted paper from those map give you much more exp than NFS, and the quests there are easier to do. NFS has 4 daily quests, and the mobs are really strong for newbie, while NF and CV has 6 wanted quests + 2 (or 3, I don't remember) daily quests, give more exp, and the mobs are weak.

Second, NFS has 3 bosses atm (LM, Boss Stormy Desert Soul, Boss Corrupted Pupa). So if you make NFS a PvE map and keep NF and CV PvP map, no one will come to NF and CV to PvP, if they come there, they just wanna bully the newbie who's trying to level up.

Third, ppl just come to CS to kill Cringer for 3rd chain quest, Livid or farming a lil bit. CS is really lag too, that's why war often happen at NFS.

And after few days since the pvp event started, I feel like it became bullying event, not PvP. Level 75 people roaming all PvP map and kill all the newbie who're trying to level up. I think if you wanna make more people to come to those map for PvP, better fix the drop from LM, or move Ulric to PvP map, it will be more fun because people fight with others, not bullying like what happen now. Or you can add something good to BF vendor with high price, which can make more people go to DM and FM to farm for them...

That's just my opinion, ofc I don't know anything about new content, so maybe it'll have more PvP map, world bosses, items, etc. and more thing to do. And the level cap can be increased too, so maybe at that time, high level people can have other map to discover, and NFS won't be too important like now, it can become a PvE map to help newbie lvl up easier.

I think that NFS (Nightfall shelter) should stay at an PvP map because of bosses ( seems to be very common). I also want to suggest to change the exp of 1st 5 wanted in class 5 wanted paper to exp same as wanted after it so new players can get 14x100mil exp from just doing wanted in PvE maps. For map PvP change to PvE, NF (nightfall forest) or CV (Corrupted Valley) are options to be changed. Like Tia said, I agree there are not too many level 75 PvP players running around to give others some action and fun. There is 1 only choice to attack anyone that is kill-able on they way they run and some have to kill the same person repeatedly because that person is the only option for them to kill for points. This is a tip I would like to share (and it should be very common): Go in a group with high level people in your guilld, your friendlist. As a new players you may or may not know anyone. This is game, there are always opportunities to meet new people, do it and find yourself some comrades, and think positively if i have to say. Someone beat you today, tomorrow you will power up and try again, dont give up until you get them back.

I think Nightfall Shelter have to be PVE, and if u see the maps is all for pvp and only 1 map for full quest pve :

Twilight Quarry PVE ( on this map reach lvl 60+ and have Wanted quest for terminus but only 3 quest for 100m exp )
Night Forest PVP Imposible to training here is pk map
Nightfall Shelter PVP and this map is full quest for pve training and is important for people who really wanna be lvl 75
Ursadine the only map write now for full pve quest and training.

So if make a balance for pvp and pve is more the maps for pvp and people who wanna training and reach lvl 75 dont have maps for training, think one time reach lvl 70-72 it take a big amount of quest for lvl and if only have to training ursadine just write now they take more 4-5 days for lvl up.

I agree with this. If you're considering on changing a pvp map into a pve map, the best maps to change are Night's Forest and Corrupt Valley. And NFS has 3 relevant bosses that people should fight for ( Lost Mysterion, Corrupted Pupa Boss, Boss Stormy Desert Soul.) NFS has always been a "welcome to the pvp system of the game" map.

And people rarely go to Colossus Shadowfield nowadays, I rarely see people pvp/pk in that map aswell, unless Livid is there.

Back when I was new to no scrubs iris, I remember being pked most of the time in NFS while I try to do daily quests. But I fought, died, ran away, asked for help and survived without complaining. Donators would also chase,pk, and would even mock me for even trying to fight back. Players nowadays would just give up half way through, when they get pked they would QQ about it, trashtalk, and some even try to abuse the spawn killing report. I admire those players who would make a strategy, team up, and actually fight back.

People act like being pked is the end of the world or something, news flash: It's not, It's part of the game.

Well NFS is the new additional map that can help the lvl 70-75 hump. But all of you go there cuz of less lag then what about the players needing those quest. When its lvl 70 they are left for lvl 75 which end up to PMs about how unfair it is they can't do those or people faking spawn kills. So the thing is going to lead to majority rules and the loser weeps.

Updated the original post. I actually meant Nights Forest, not Nightfall Shelter. I wouldn't make NFS a PvE map when it has LM on it and he likes it there, doesn't want to move.

Should keep NFS a pvp map as well as Corrupt Valley for they are dead end maps for higher levels. But Night Forest should be turned into a pve map the same reason everyone else have mentioned, that it holds most daily quests and it can serve as an escape map for people coming from NFS or Corrupt Valley.

I have a suggestion about Colossus Shadowfields, though. How about making the mobs there including Cringer drop more interesting stuff and fix Livid's spawn rate. The same can be done for Corrupt Valley cause people only go there for the Lizard and Spider wanted paper-quest. There's actually no reason to go to CS besides the two bosses since there are no quests over there, nor are there any materials that are worth grinding for. A mighty trophy here and there and a low chance of getting spirit pieces and on rare occasions, frostbite-tier weapons, doesn't really make it ideal to farm there.

Can that change wait until we receive the new episode patch? the number of the PvE and PvP is quite balance now. Also you are going to move ulric to 1 of the PvP in the future, we need some space to fit ulric in as well. Just suggestion.

No it will be today at midnight. I don't want the game ruined for our new players trying to level. These two maps are lower level so there is no need for them to be PvP anymore anyway. PvP maps will be reviewed again once we know for sure what new maps we will be implementing.
