Sharp Shooters those where hunters you can see them a lot ingame..^_^

hunter has low hp and def at lower level and you gonna need alot of pots to level it. and you wont be able to save much gold since you gonna be buying alot of pots. hunter is good in higher level. they can deal high damage and you will be able to kill enemy before they even go near you. but you will need good gears = need gold. since your just starting try melee class 1st. so you will be able to save pots and gold.

I thought rdps easier to save gold on pots xD But gear is more expensive lol, cos there are so many sorc/wiz.

try making a new one. without the support of your main char. package gear from starter. make a hunter.

I always thought rdps use less gold in pots because they are ranged?? Maybe you thinking more def = less dmg = less pots.
Pots for leveling doesnt really matter anyway, if you are looting every hp/mp pot you find it should be suffice for your leveling needs.

Well if you already experienced leveling a virgin hunter then ill take your word for it, compare to other classes hunter probably isnt your most rewarding 1st job in the early game. Everyone is entitle to their own opinion and i respect yours but that doesnt mean ill agree with your arguments on pots.

@Main Topic, everyone's playstyle and leveling route is different i suggest you explore your higher level (ShartShooter) skills then decide if you want to continue down the road

so its really not good making hunter for new char.if melee which class is good dps/crit/def

is mercenary good choice?or a gladiator?

Merc = with the recent buffs got back their low cd ignore def skill, along with a handful of disables when changing to soul blader.
Glad = the weaker counter part of berserker IMO, until they change to crussader where they trully shine and be their own class, big burst and bleeding skills.

harder time to get into party for dungeon or raids, but excel in pvp if geared properly. at the end of the day take ppl's advice/opinion with a pinch of salt. just explore their skills with the in-game skill builder and just pick whatever you feel like playing, dont let our opinion discourage you to try/explore different things. play it and make it work for you where others fail.
