I have lowered the amount of votes needed on Xtremetop and GTop to 500, so go get us 500 votes on each (Xtreme is already over 300) and you will get double tears for the rest of this month.

Quitting the game because the price of tears has gone up...?

My friend, you should reconsider your reasoning.

In real life, when stocks in the stock-market for example go up, people sell to get a better price for their stocks, products, company stocks, or even houses.
When many people start selling to get the better price though, buyers have many possible places to buy from so they pick the cheapest.
Thus begins the undercutting, and soon the supply exceeds the demand, which results in a drop of prices again.

It is all like a cycle that has ups and downs, and economy is precisely like that. Think of countries, of companies, of the stock-market.
It all works by the simple rule of "supply and demand".

There are a lot of tears going on around the server, and we can see this. If people have decided to store it in case of another auction, that's their choice. We of course never said there'd be another such auction in the near future, or ever. Who knows, maybe there will be, in a year, next season, or never. What they do with their tears is their own business, such as yours.

To get tears you need to do the simple task of voting for our server so it can stay up in the lists and people keep coming to play.
Which means MORE tears for you brought by new people voting, more tears circulating in the economy of the server.

That's how things work everywhere that has a free economy system, which is most countries in the world. The faster you understand this, the better chance you have succeeding in life, not only in a game.

It's not because people don't LIKE the voting system, it's because they can't CHEAT it so easily.

I'll look into adding another vote site if I can find one that has a decent system that cannot be abused.

It's also because there was a tears auction.

To be honest, reading this kind of post yet again kinda pisses me off, no disrespect, but it does.

Tears are our voting currency. They were put in the game as currency for premium items that you had to vote to get, to keep the server on the toplists and get us new players. I think you have it really easy considering we even give you some free every hour, added the SlotZ daily and added them as a Vortex reward amongst other things like events, and to top it all off, they are tradable. I haven't played many established servers where you get all of this, if anything. Usually you either vote or donate or get nothing.

We need these votes because games like this do not thrive on word of mouth alone, they need constant advertising that the toplists provide us.

So yeh, I don't really care how much tears cost in gold or whatever else these days, just feel lucky that you can even trade them in the first place. In fact, until just recently the voting system was getting abused so there were massive amounts of tears being sold off too cheaply. Now that we cleared the server of a lot of tears by doing the auction event and also by offering the tear amnesty to cheaters, the prices are going back up, probably to how they should be considering the ease at which you can farm gold here.

It wasn't long ago when tears cost 600-700k gold. Tear farmers flood the economy and make it cheaper, it's is called inflation.

And as somebody said above, there was a big auction with tears so many tears paid for items.

Prices change all the time, they go up and down and again depending on ppl needs. Moolah were a lot cheaper when they were release and then all wanted moolah prices went up ofc, all stat cards for example were 50 tears - 100 -150-200-300 now less, as for gold same thing were 100m ea each at some time then lower and lower to 40 than to 15m then back to 60m and now slowly back to 40m. Tears always were with ups and downs as well there were a time when they were 100k ea went up then back to that now they are up mostly because that event that dried out the tears in the server and the new improved voting system. So yea everything has it's up and downs.

Also don't forget we used to get 80 tears a day and now we get 40 tears a day by voting. That's 50% less so it's normal that tears price doubled as it takes double the time to get the same amount of tears as before.

And also like Wadi said, the auction didn't really help....

Oh a vote event

tears will go back down once it recovers from events plus Fawn was doing an event yesterday with tear prizes.

Before Auction we were suffering some MAJOR inflation with tears. I think at one point they were like 90k ea so i'm glad that we got a lot of tears off the server and back into circulation.

Getting tears really isn't that hard anyway. I'm on for like 8-9hrs and dont even vote. May not sound like a lot but by Sunday i have about 126 tears plus i usually have another character on stand by in case of needing to dual use for a dungeon or so.

i may just sound like i'm repeating what everyone else said but the point is prices will go insane then go downhill then go ok then insane again. just how life/games are.

i dont see the prices going down anytime soon because there is no way for us to tell how many tears their are in the economy total its just people guessing that there isnt many i probably gained at least 2000 this month alone with VH slots voting and hourly.

Ive decided to sell my tears for now and wait and see if the prices start to drop, all i know if i dont see something change im seriously thinking about quitting this game.

Just a fast calculation, since you said you got 2000 tears on your own last month.

In a month (30 days):

1. If a person votes properly (and we do not get the bonus votes from the vote event), and he stays online with only ONE character
He gets 2640 tears per month.

2. If in the middle of the month we get the vote event done, vote tears get doubled.
So instead of the above, the sum becomes 3240 tears.

3. If that person has an alt online while playing (lets say for half the hours of his main character, and lets say he only leaves the main online when he's sleeping etc) and that one gets online tears as well,
then the sum becomes: 3960 tears.

4. Now, if you also do your Vortex runs every day too, you can easily get tears as a reward, and you can get it multiple times in one go as well.

Which means that you can get more than 4000 tears per month. And I won't mention selling stuff or trading of course.

I think it sounds quite fair an amount.

Well before even without cheating you could get 80 tears per day from voting, now it's just 40.

Plus no one wants to trade moolah for tears anymore, and if they do it's like 300-350 tears which is 40% lower than before the auction started D:

You have to think, yes the auction was back in March, but, thousands of tears were taken out of circulation due to having 3 winners per category. It will take some time to recover from this... it feels like the American economy. >.>

im sorry but im having a hard time understanding this. i think their are less people buying these potions now because they dont like wasting their money on them and dung reset dont get bought as often with insane dailies.

oo they do , and will always do , coz the alchemy normal pots is with cd 30 sec , and clean just 1 bad stat from new skils . Tears one is less cd , and clean all ur debuff . Dung reset hm. how can come from insane only - it's comig 4 reset just . We some time spend 10 to can get drop potion . Sure i go to the tears vendor . ~~

tear price is SO OK for us noobs. we can sell high. gears ourself fast. since geting more gold than before. 40pcs a day in voting. sell at 500k ea = 20m right? i can buy 1k mts already in 1 day.. so happy. can buy at mts vendor 1 gear a day. so happy tear price is UP

im not just planning on quitting because of that, hell the class i chose was the weakest class in the game when i first joined and it still is even after the update the barbarian still blows. i really wish i knew how to explain my frustrations with this better but im not very good at explaining anything which is why i dont usually like posting this kind of shit on the forums because no one seems to undestand my reasons. i do vote for the server and do countless other things but im not going to spend weeks just trying to get one stupid item.

Ive set up an economy for another game it worked out quite well actually. the only reason that server isnt up anymore is because it was just a small server and we had lack of donations to keep it running. kinda like when you guys were planning on raising the lvl cap to 85 i knew the old armor and weapon prices were going to plummet and they did. I do know how the economy works. you need alot more knowledge than just knowing the economy to succeed in life as well. thats just a very small step of the ladder.

all stat to tear ratio is dependent on the tear price to calculate how many tears = allstat.
(pirce of moolah) / (Price of tears) = (Ammount of tears per moolah)

your right it feels like the american economy and you know what? like the american economy its causing a sh*tload of stress.

You might as well start by not saying you will quit because of it.
Of course you have other reasons as you now say, but if you wanted to make a suggestion about something else, like the class you have picked, you can make a suggestion that will have specific things in. Like what doesn't work, and what to improve.
You don't need to make "shit posts". If people see somebody talking in a bad manner they usually turn it into a flame post, as you probably have seen. But we always read what people have to say, and if it is properly backed with evidence and good argument, we see it done.

now that you did that calculation it really is starting to make me wonder i was looking at some of the auction items you had and most of them barely even went to 2000 for the bloodletter weapons so the prices shouldnt have went up as much as they did then if we can get that much with as many people sit in terminus all day long vote and and do everything else.

350 tears X 500k = 175m per moolah which would mean moolah is also more expensive than i though it was right now Geez =/

Forgot to add the Slotz game for tears to my calculation.

Plus if you do vh, you usually can get like 30-50 tears if you're lucky enough to click on them.
