NoScrubs Iris Online is already compatible with Windows 8 but some users may experience random disconnections with or without an error message. This is due to the anti-hacking features which is not part of the client itself.
To fix this problem you must run the client in Windows XP (Service Pack 3) compatibility mode.
1. Open the NoScrubs Iris Online folder and find the file called IrisClient.exe
2. Right-click IrisClient.exe and choose Troubleshoot Compatibility from the menu.
3. Choose the 2nd option from the window that appears. Troubleshoot program.
4. Tick the 1st option in the window that appears. The program worked in an earlier version of Windows but won't install or run now. Click the Next button.
5. Choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3) from the list and click the Next button.
6. Click Test the program... in the next window and wait for the launcher to open, switch back to the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter and click the Next button.
7. Select the first option in the next window that appears, Yes save these settings for this program.
8. Click the Close button.
Future updates to the game that update the irisclient.exe file should not wipe these settings but you can always check after an update or if you start having problems with disconnections/error messages.
